Is this energy star rated?

Hello @Anonymous, I'm not sure whether the Well Universal Electric Fireplace Media Mantle is energy star rated. Unfortunately, the box didn't indicate whether it was or not.

We purchased this unit and it does not heat. We called customer service and the message is to leave your name and number and they will call you back in 24 hours. Two weeks later, we are still playing telephone tag and they will never give a direct number to call them back. It is very frustrating to say the least. David

Hi @David, that's awfully disappointing that your Well Universal Electric Fireplace Media Mantle doesn't even do what it's supposed to. Perhaps you should just exchange it or return it for a full refund since customer service doesn't seem to help. If you got it from Costco, you shouldn't have any issues returning it especially if it's a lemon. Good luck!

is there a online user's manual for this product?

Will Costco deliver this item. I didn't find it in their online products, and unfortunately I have absolutely no way to get it to my home, besides the fact I'm handicapped, I'm sure it would take at least 2 stron men

Anywhere to get dimensions of unit, cabinets, shelves, drawers

ExecMemberMike said...

Hello @Mustang, if you can't find the Well Universal Electric Fireplace Media Mantle online on their website, you can try going to your local Costco and talk to their customer service. They could probably set you up with a 3rd party delivery service to have it delivered to your home if they have it in stock. They would usually do this if you're buying something large and bulky like certain pieces of furniture.

Hi @Unknown, unfortunately I don't have all the dimensions for the Well Universal Electric Fireplace Media Mantle. Try giving the manufacturer a call, and perhaps they can provide you with all the appropriate dimensions.

Did you ever find an online user manual?

Is this item still available through Costco? If so, how/where?

ExecMemberMike said...

Hello @Retire_Now, I actually just spotted the Well Universal Electric Fireplace Media Mantle at Costco a couple of weeks ago and I posted it here. You'll have to check your local Costco to see if they have it in stock since availability varies per Costco location. That or you may check online on the main Costco website to see if it's available there as well.

Hello,

Is there a way I can purchase the "Well Universal 72" Electric Fireplace Media Mantle" when it's not at the physical store (Costco) locations? Or a way to track one down to purchase?

It seems like the only times I've seen this stocked at an actual Costco is around Winter/Christmas time...

Thanks in advance!

Hi @RB, you may be able to find the Well Universal Electric Fireplace Media Mantle on Costco's main website, but online availability may differ from Costco's physical locations. A lot of Costco's featured items are seasonal, so that's why you'll only see them during a certain time of year. Once Costco runs out of a certain item, it's not uncommon to not see it back for another few months.

Where can I get a replacement remote

ExecMemberMike said...

Hello @Unknown, try contacting the manufacturer to see whether they have a replacement remote for your Well Universal Electric Fireplace Media Mantle. That or they may be able to provide a list of 3rd party retailers which do. Good luck!

My fireplace elements have burned out and I can't get any answers as to where I can buy a replacement element for it. It's frustrating when customer service is not really customer service and don't return your e-mails.

Where can I get a replacement remote?

This winter my Well-Universal Electric Fire Place seemed dead. It was just a circuit breaker in the power cord extension I used. I also seemed to have a problem with the remote. I replaced the batteries and cleaned the contacts and now it works fine. The on the fireplace controls seem to work but the display is bad. This unit seems to run fine on a 15 amp circuit. But it does draw unto 12.9 amps. So, you may need a separate circuit for the TV, and other audio visual equipment.
