I actually don't have the Google Home but rather its competitor, the Amazon Echo Dot. I didn't think that I needed a voice-activated assistant devices but now that I've used it, I have come to rely on it for simple things like tuning in to my favorite Pandora station, to stream sports talk radio shows from TuneIn Radio and, my favorite, to set timers. You too will end up using Google Home for such things as determining the weather or finding out about traffic conditions before you take off for your daily commute. The speaker is decent but you may want to upgrade to something like the Bose Solo 5 Sound Bar and connect to it via Bluetooth. Once you use Google Home, you'll never go back.
