The folks at Precision Sensor have made improvements to their popular Professional Stud Finder. I bought the ProFinder 5000 from Costco and it has made my hanging projects so much easier. If you are a DIY sort of a person, you may want to pick up the 6000 at your local Costco. At a fair price point, why even bother with other stud finders? The Precision Sensors ProFinder 6000+ Professional Stud Finder is wide enough that it can detect multiple studs at the same time. One improvement over the older model is that the 6000 has an improved max detection depth. The built-in bubble level and pencil caddy are nice touches as well. This makes projects around the house that easier to deal with.

Take the guess work out of finding studs and beams using the Precision Sensors Professional Stud Finder Profinder 5000. I bought this stud finder because the old Stanley digital stud finder I had didn’t give me a good enough indication of objects behind my wall. Sometimes I would drill and realize there was nothing there but drywall! I got fed up with this and opted for the Precision Sensors Professional Stud Finder Profinder 5000. This thing is wide enough that it can detect multiple studs at the same time. It even shows you the width of the stud. I like the fact that you don’t have to slide the finder along the wall thanks to the always-on deep scanning technology. This helps in making DIY work go quick and easy.
