I bought a few rare-earth magnets for my refrigerator and man are they strong. The magnets come with a plastic strip in between each magnet. I mistakenly removed one of the plastic strips and 2 of the magnets stuck to each other and I couldn't pry them apart! I needed a flathead screwdriver to separate them. I needed a holder for my iPhone when in the car. No more reaching for my phone in the center console and raising it until I'm able to see the screen. That can be rather dangerous when driving. Once you install the MagicPlate behind your phone and securely attach the mount to the dashboard, then all you have to do is hover the phone over the mount and let the magnets do their thing. Your phone won't move an inch until you're ready to take it off of the mount.
