I love my Instant Pot similar to the one in the post. From spaghetti sauce, to chicken, to steaks...the Instant Pot produces great-tasting food at a fraction of the time. But my main complaint is having food stick to the bottom and sides of the inner pot. The inner pot is not coated with teflon but rather is made from stainless steel so food can more easily stick. When I saw the Oxo Softworks 3-piece Silicone Pressure Cooker Accessories Set, I grabbed it immediately because I knew I would use it. And for under $20, it's a small price to pay for not having to scrub the heck out of the inner pot. The egg rack is a nice touch to keep the eggs upright while cooking. The Instant Pot has changed the way we cook our favorite foods. From spaghetti sauce, to chicken, to steaks...the Instant Pot produces great-tasting food at a fraction of the time. We mostly cook stews with our Instant Pot and the meat always comes out tender. And since it's a pressure cooker, cooking time get significantly cut down so you can prepare an entire dinner in no time. We have the Ultra model which is different from the Instant Pot Nova Plus 6qt Pressure Cooker available at Costco but it can do many of the same things. One thing about the Ultra is there is a sort of hidden Sous Vide setting which we recently tried when cooking steaks. We placed the steaks in normal ziploc bags and placed them inside the water-filled Instant Pot. For 1.5" steaks, cooking time was about an hour and a half. Afterwards, we seared the steaks on a grill pan. Normal grilling would have resulted in a pink inside with a gradual darkening/graying as you move to the outer edge of the steak. With the Instant Pot, the result was a perfectly medium steak that was pink all the way through until the very edge where the sear was. I don't see myself grilling steaks the traditional way again.
