Steel Frame Canopy with Side Walls (Tan Cover)

[Scroll down to view product info]

Do you ever find yourself wanting and needing extra space or an extra room. If this applies to you, then you may want to take a look at the Steel Frame Canopy with Side Walls (Tan Cover) at Costco. It allows you to have virtually a new room but outside. When it's warm out, it's great to set up in the backyard if you're hosting a barbecue or an outdoor summer party since you can still be outside but away from the sun. You could even use it as a temporary workshop. If you don't already have a workshop or don't have space in the garage for some wood working or do-it-yourself projects, you could just set this up and you'll have your very own workshop set up in a mere minutes. As you can see in the picture below, you could even use this as a carport if you don't have a garage or don't have space in the garage for another vehicle. Let me tell you that even having a carport makes a big difference in keeping your car clean and looking brand new particularly during the winter months. You'll be glad to have this Steel Frame Canopy since it's a good piece of equipment that is versatile and sturdy enough for however you plan to use it.

I had a wind storm and need to replace a few posts. Eventually the rook also. Do you have any information on where to get the parts? Thanks

Hi @Unknown, I'm sorry to hear that your canopy was severely damaged during a storm. You may want to contact the manufacturer for replacement parts for your Steel Frame Canopy with Side Walls. I doubt Costco would sell replacement parts. That or you may consider buying a new canopy altogether if buying replacement parts for your current canopy exceeds the cost of a new canopy.

What brand is this canopy? My Costco no longer carries it. The part number is no help on costcos website either. Help please

Hello @Unknown, unfortunately the Steel Frame Canopy with Side Walls doesn't seem to indicate the brand. This is common for a lot of Costco products where they sell a lot of no name brand products.

Do you know what the height of the canopy is?

ExecMemberMike said...

Hi @Anonymous, sorry the packaging doesn't indicate the height of the Steel Frame Canopy with Side Walls and there was no floor model at Costco which I could eyeball.

Is there anywhere I can still get this product? I have tried online, and no luck. This is a really great product wish they would keep it available to customers. There is no other portable car canopy as simple as this out there on the market.

Hello @Unknown, unfortunately I haven't seen the Steel Frame Canopy with Side Walls at least in my local Costco. That's the thing with Costco. They quickly cycle through their products that once they sell out of all their inventory, that's all they'll have and you won't see it at Costco anymore. Often times, it'll take a few months (if you're lucky) to see it back again assuming they even decide to bring it back.

This product is not capable of withstanding a wind gust of much over 20 mph. Cheap hollow metal poles bend easily. Fabric won't stay velcroed and the flimsy metal clips that hold fabric to poles rip out. You might as well throw your money away. Product should be labeled "Indoor use only."

Thank you @Unknown for your review of the Steel Frame Canopy. Your feedback is very much appreciated as I'm sure people reading this will find it very useful.
