Unfortunately!!!, the owner's manual needs to WARN the consumer that it leaks and can ruin your furniture. Woke up this morning after a couple months of satisfactory use with my dresser finish ruined even though the unit was resting on a towel. Something awful happened. I can't image I'm the only one. Secondly- my warm or cool mist is equally cool.
So, please be careful... this is not the extra headache you need when you have the flu
Thank you @Steve for sharing your experience with the HoMedics Total Comfort Ultrasonic Humidifier. That's just awful that your humidifier ended up being defective and ruining your dresser. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else and that this isn't a trend with all HoMedics Total Comfort Ultrasonic Humidifiers.
