When it comes to meat, Costco surprisingly has high quality meat. This is really good because meat tends to be pricey at the grocery store whereas Costco definitely has it cheaper. Take for instance the Kirkland Beef Chuck Boneless Short Ribs from Costco. This is normally $7.99 per pound at my local grocery store and about $8.59 per pound in the high-end gourmet grocery store near my house. Although it's cheaper there per pound than at Costco, those beef short ribs are not boneless, so you end up paying extra for the actual bone which makes up a lot of weight and which you're going to discard anyway.
