Fabric Power Reclining Sectional

[Scroll down to view product info]

When it comes to L-shaped couches or sofa, the Fabric Power Reclining Sectional from Costco definitely takes the cake. It features end seats that recline, so you don't need an additional reclining chair in your living room or family room particularly if there's no more space for another piece of furniture. Not only that, but it has a pretty cool storage console for remote controls or tablets. It's sort of like the center console in between the driver and passenger seats in your car. That storage console always seems to come in handy for small items. And because we live in a world where we're always online 24/7, the Fabric Power Reclining Sectional even has a USB charging station to recharge all your devices: smartphones, tablets, etc. It kind of makes you wonder how we lived without all these features on our sofas and couches for so long. At the end of the day, you'll soon find out that the Fabric Reclining Sectional is as much comfortable to sit or lay in as it is technologically advanced.

Great puchase! We had been looking for a power reclining sectional, and couldn't find anything under 2k. Love the neutral color. Definitely recommend

Hi @Andrew, thank you for indicating where the Fabric Power Reclining Sectional is made. It seems mostly everything is made in China these days.

Hello @Anonymous, I'm glad that you're loving your Fabric Reclining Sectional. Costco definitely has some good deals on furniture. The same pieces of furniture found at other places can significantly be more expensive for sure.

Can someone tell me the dimensions are?

Anonymous said...

Would like to know the dimensions myself.

Would love to know left and right dimensions as well as manufacturer, thanks in advance.

Manufacturer is Manwah Limited or Manwah Holding Group

Thank you @Anonymous for clarifying the manufacturer for the Fabric Reclining Sectional. I'm sure many people will find this information very useful.

how much space does it need from the wall to fully recline?

I just purchased this yesterday. It is sooo comfy. With two young kids and a cat and a dog, we didn't want to spend thousands on a set since it will be one used quite frequently. After furniture shopping for a month, I saw no difference in quality between this one and ones in furniture stores. And I know I even saw this model, or similar, in one of the stores. It went together super easy. Oh, and a heads up — aside from the corner piece, the seats are in pieces in the boxes, so you can definitely open them up and carry that way. It worked out to be much easier than carrying the boxes (at least for us).

For the dimensions, here is an image I took at the store: http://i1378.photobucket.com/albums/ah99/onebeanshy/2016-07-13%2016.33.02_zpsevml9qqg.jpg

Space from the wall - not much at all! I was actually surprised. And it really fully reclines. Almost flat. It's really comfortable. My best guess is about 3", but I was still able to put my hand between the wall and the chair. We have a very small living room, and this sectional fits.

ExecMemberMike said...

Hello @Erin, I'm glad to hear that you're loving your Fabric Reclining Sectional and thank you for providing the dimensions of this sectional. That is what is great about Costco, there are always many good deals particularly when it comes to furniture. The same piece of furniture found in other stores is significantly cheaper at Costco yet still comparable in quality. It's a good idea not to spend too much on a sectional with two young kids and pets, when an item from Costco is cheaper in comparison and will do the job. I should know. I have two young boys of my own (3 years and and 1 year old) and knowing them, they're bound to draw on something or spill juice somewhere. Anything in our house is fair game to them.

Can the individual pieces be rearranged, for example to place the two armless seats together so one side would be longer, or to leave out the cup holder unit?

Unknown said...

Erin- how far away from the wall does the sectional need to be?

Wondering the same thing.. Could recliners be put next to each other?

Anonymous said...

can the cup holder divider fit on either side?

Bryan said...

Every piece can be moved around - the 6 pieces connect together like legos. I just bought mine today.

ExecMemberMike said...

Hello @Bryan, thank you for clarifying that the pieces for the Fabric Power Reclining Sectional can be rearranged. That's definitely a good thing since that way you can customize the configuration of the section to fit your living space accordingly.

Does this sectional come with a scotch guard or some other protective coating on it?

ExecMemberMike said...

Hello @Rachel, I'm not aware that the Fabric Power Reclining Sectional comes with some sort of protective coating. I'm guessing that it doesn't. If it indeed doesn't, at least you can Scotch Guard it yourself in order to further protect it.

Joyseelun said...

How heavy were the boxes? We are planning to get it at our nearby Costco but trying to figure out pickup/loading etc

ExecMemberMike said...

Hello @Joyseelun, I'm not sure how much each of the boxes weigh, but I think Costco can give you a hand when loading your vehicle. Furniture can indeed be quite large and bulky and surely they can't expect everyone to lug it from the warehouse to their car all by themselves. I've had other readers comment on how they were able to get someone from Costco to physically help them when buying furniture in general. You can take a look here. Just scroll down to the comments section. I hope this helps!

Joyseelun said...

Thank you. that definitely did help! we just ours today! :)

ExecMemberMike said...

Hi @Joyseelun, I'm glad to hear that you got the Fabric Power Reclining Sectional and that you were able to get it home ok. I hope that it lasts you and your family a very long time!

Anyone know where else I might be able to buy this? My local Costco does not have them. What brand is it?

ExecMemberMike said...

Hi @Anonymous, your best bet is to check other nearby Costcos to see if they have this sectional in stock. Hopefully there are more than just one Costco warehouse in your vicinity. Ya it's kind of weird that the Fabric Reclining Sectional doesn't have a brand. The box just has a generic name to it. One of our readers did comment above that the manufacturer is Manwah Limited or Manwah Holding Group. I hope this helps.

Check with your local Costco, they can check at other Costco locations in the area. My local also ran out, but they were able to check with the depot and saw that they had over 100 there, so I just had to be patient and wait for my local store to get their order. I'm totally happy with finally getting mine!

ExecMemberMike said...

Thank you for sharing your experience getting the Fabric Reclining Sectional from Costco, @Limited To Infinity! I'm glad to hear that you and your family are loving your new sectional and hope that it'll last you a very long time!

We bought our 2 weeks ago, still love it.Any info on Scotch Guard of this piece?Manufacturer did not supply info on care for sectional other than box sayin easy cleaning.

ExecMemberMike said...

Hello @Anonymous, that's great that you're loving the Fabric Reclining Sectional that you recently got for your home. I'm assuming that no Scotch Guard was applied by the manufacturer. There's a lot of resources online (ie. Google, YouTube) on how to Scotch Guard a fabric couch that you could look at. I would check those out and read the directions on the bottle of Scotch Guard carefully. Also, if you do apply Scotch Guard on your sectional, try doing it on a small spot that is not in plain view first like in between the pieces or on the underside of the cushion just to make sure that it doesn't ruin the upholstery. I hope this helps and good luck!

does anyone know if the cup holder section may be purchased by itself? I would like to have a cup holder section next to each recliner.

thanks,

Unknown said...

My local Costco is out of supply. Can you order this?

ExecMemberMike said...

Hello @Unknown, I've never actually tried this, but you may want to visit the customer service desk at your local Costco and see whether the Fabric Reclining Sectional is in stock and available in other Costco locations. It's also possible that they can place an order for you. It's worth a shot if this sectional isn't available online on Costco's website.

ExecMemberMike said...

Hi @Anonymous, I don't think the cup holder section of the Fabric Reclining Sectional can be purchased separately. It'd be great if it can be though. That way people can customize their sectionals for their homes.

Unknown said...

We just bought a home and would really love to have this sofa. Unfortunately, Costco said they no longer carry it. Does anyone know where we should look to find one for purchase??

ExecMemberMike said...

Hello @Erin, it would be very difficult to find the Fabric Power Reclining Sectional especially if Costco no longer carries it. That and the box doesn't even indicate a manufacturer, so locating one through another retailer or straight from the manufacturer would be quite tough. Try checking all the local Costcos in your area. Hopefully, a nearby Costco still has one last one available for you. I'm sure it'll look great in your new home if you do luck out. Good luck!

Saw this in Costco around the 4th of July, like it, went in to buy it near the end of July, out of stock and would not discount the floor model, said 2 more sets would arrive "soon." We called periodically to check to see if they came in. Called on a Tuesday, found out that 2 had arrived and 1 was already sold, so high-tailed it out to my local Costco and paid for the last packaged one, and they held it so we could pick it up the next day. So far, we've found it to be comfortable, well built, perfect for our decor, and well worth the money.

Why in the world would Costco feature this sectional in the Costco Connection magazine in June, then ship so few to store, and then stop carrying it?!?!?!

ExecMemberMike said...

Hi @CrittenWildcat, that's great that you were able to luck out on the Fabric Power Reclining Sectional at Costco. I'm glad to hear that it's super comfortable, and I hope it lasts you and your family a very long time. I'm not sure why this sectional would be advertised in the June Costco Connection magazine and have so few in stock. It's apparent that the Costco warehouse locations, costco.com website, and now the Costco Connection magazine just aren't all in sync with each other. I really wish they were.

Did a little research, look at the Flexsteel Delia, either this is a knockoff of that design or this is the Chinese manufacturer selling their spec'ed product unbranded to Costco.
Here's a link: http://www.flexsteel.com/product/delia-1458-sectp

ExecMemberMike said...

That's quite interesting @CrittendWildcat. It wouldn't surprise me if Costco was selling this same Flexsteel Delia as its Fabric Power Reclining Sectional. Manufacturers have been known to make certain products solely to be sold at Costco.

Does anyone have their warrenty card for the sofa? If so is there a number to call for a warrenty claim?
I called Costco and they didn't know. It's name is Man Wahl but I still don't find a warrenty number.

Unknown said...

Does Costco ever release the same kind of furniture as the previous year? I'd love to get this couch since I saw it last year but Costco isn't selling furniture locally yet. :(

Unknown said...

Costco does sell the same models of furniture over again. I just bought a Simon Li leather couch and a pair of matching recliners there in the past week or so. I have been seeing the same couch and love seat there for at least 2 years but they only come in, in Jan. As soon as it comes time for lawn furniture all the interior furniture goes on clearance and don't see it again till next winter. Not everything seems to come back year after year but some at my store at least, def does. I was holding out on buying this furniture since in a few weeks it will be on clearance, just the past couple years wanting it missing out by doing the same waiting on the couch to drop $100-$200 in price. The recliners though I have never seen and really nice to have them matching. They had 9 come in that sold as soon as they came in. Had me real disappointed. I waited almost 2 weeks, calling, showing up in store every day looking to see if more came in. Today they finally did and I bought the 2 that were in box on the floor. I got the couch last week when there was one left in box on the floor. Figured if I didn't get it now may not make it till everything goes on clearance.

ExecMemberMike said...

Hello @Jesse_Johnson, yes I echo what you said that it is not uncommon for Costco to have the same products over and over again. Costco does a good job cycling through seasonal products that they have available. It's a good thing you pulled the trigger on the couch and recliners. I hate that feeling of regret that sinks in when you see something at Costco that you really like, but don't buy it in order to think it over. And before you know it, it's gone. That actually happens to me all the time. I've learned just to bite the bullet and purchase it while it's still there.
