How can I order these lights.
Hi @Anonymous, the main Costco website is quite unreliable, so your best bet to find the Manor House Solar LED Marker Lights is to go to a Costco Warehouse location near you. Hopefully one of the various Costcos around the Dallas area will have these in stock. Good luck!
I purchased 12 of these lights for my boat dock on Lake Houston, They put out a great amount of light and work perfectly. One month after installing these, our boat dock was covered with 4" of water for 3 days due to recent flooding and these lights were still coming on each night under the water! The water has since receeded, and all are still working!
Hi @Lee, that's awesome that the Manor House Solar LED Marker Lights were still working even with a flood! I'm glad to hear that they've proven to be quite rugged outside in such harsh conditions. Thank you for letting us know how durable they are and that they seem to be working great for you!
My lights worked great for a couple weeks.
now they do not go on at night, but if I go out and put a flashlight on them for a second, they come on. I hate to have to light them every night this way.
Hopefully the folks at manor house have a solution to this problem.
Hi @RF Vendena, that sucks that you have to manually light the Manor House Solar LED Marker Lights with a flashlight for them to turn on at night - that's just unacceptable. You may want to return them to Costco. It's a good thing Costco has a pretty good return policy for situations like these.
Love my lights! I have two sets I put on my dock in the early spring and they are still working great (every night). Wish my local Costco had more right now I want to put them on my deck stairs.
Hi @Anonymous, thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Manor House Solar LED Marker Lights. I'm glad to hear that they're working out well for you. Hopefully, they'll have some more available in stock soon for you to put more around.
Does anyone have a hint to attach them to an area where you can't screw them down?
Hi @Anonymous, although I've never actually tried it, but you may want to try using glue to have your Manor House Solar LED Marker Lights fixed on a surface. Gorilla Glue is readily available at any hardware store, and is often used for industrial applications. That or some other brand of glue might just work for you. I hope this helps. Good luck!
There are rechargeable batteries in these lights and will fail eventually. They are replaceable. I would glue either wood or aluminum plate to the area in question and then attach your marker light fixture to that surface with screws. You can now service them in the future.
Hello @Anonymous, thanks for the tip for attaching the Manor House Solar LED Marker Lights on a surface. I'm sure many people with these lights will find this advice helpful.
Great construction, good looking, but unfortunately we experienced short run time with them despite direct sunlight charging. I'm about to try surgery on one to disable an LED on each side (since they have three per side). Also I may try to disable a whole side (3 LEDs) to make it uni-directional therefore doubling runtime
Hello @dddave, I hope you're successful "modding" your Manor House Solar LED Marker Lights. Let us know how it works out. Good luck!
We had the same problem as R.F. Vendana. The lights are very bright when they're on. However, they go on and off sporadically and it's not the batteries. Engineering should also come up with a simpler method of changing the battery. WAY TOO MANY SCREWS! Returning 2 sets to Costco and hopefully Manor House will make some changes.
Hi @Anonymous, thank you for sharing your experience with the Manor House Solar LED Marker Lights. Ya the manufacturer really needs to do a better job with their quality control. Lights that work only some of the time is unacceptable.
are these light going to be available soon at Costco ???
Hello @Mike, that's the thing with Costco...they're constantly rotating the products they have available for purchase. In regards to the Manor House Solar LED Marker Lights, it's anyone's guess as to when they'll have it in stock again. It can be next week or even a few months before we see it or at least something similar again at Costco. And as mentioned in my post, I spotted these lights well over a year ago. Hopefully, they'll be back sooner rather than later, so definitely keep an eye out for them. Good luck!
If you replace the batteries do they have to be rechargeable?
