If you're looking for a good source of protein, look no further than New Zealand which is known for their grass-fed cows. As opposed to other countries which raise corn-fed cows, grass-fed cattle contain Omega-3s and are leaner, therefore, have less total fat. When I'm looking for a protein powder, I look to a whey protein isolate. The Orgain Clean Protein Shake from Costco is not a whey protein isolate but it still does provide you with 20g of protein per serving and only 10g of carbs. Most protein powders are just packed with sugar. The Orgain protein shake is non-GMO, no artifical sweeteners and is soy-free. You definitely want to stay away from soy because it is heavily processed.
