These shelves are great! Occasionally I have loaded them with over a ton of food (not for long). I wish they had included 4 more replacement feet for the casters, but I just made some from std hdw.
The trick to using 2 Triple shelf racks is to remove the unidentified pipe couplers from the 4 upper posts (using some kind of pipe wrench (not included)), to replace them with the 4 spare bottom mount (#12) reducer adapters (included), for the feet or casters. This is hidden instruction is on p.8, Step 5, picture 4.
Correction: "Half-ton" ~1100#
