I haven't baked anything in a while. But when I did, my go-to dessert to make was chocolate chip cookies from scratch. It certainly beats already-made cookies or the ones that come frozen in a roll. But baking requires precise measurements and that's where the Chicago Metallic Measuring Cups and Spoons come in. True chefs probably don't need measuring cups. They know exactly how much of an ingredient to put in just by instinct. Well, I'm no master chef. So I need to follow directions from a recipe to a tee. The Chicago Metallic Measuring Cups and Spoons will help you get the right amounts to make your holiday feast a success.

Bought these in Dec 2019 as a Christmas present. January of 2020 and these "stainless" cups are rusting. Pieces of junk!
Glad to have found this page (and comment from another shopper). I bought this set at end of December 2019 too, and after the FIRST wash before storing them for first use...started to notice small rust spots on many of the cups. Tried to scrub away the spots, but they won't go away. It's a bummer because they feel solid and look nice. Will be returning to store tomorrow.
Hello @Unknown and @Albert, thanks for sharing your experiences with the Chicago Metallic Measuring Cups and Spoons 12-piece set. That's quite disappointing to hear that your sets are rusting after minimal use. I would actually expect more from Chicago Metallic because I've been very happy with the Chicago Metallic products that I have which include 4 round cake pans and 3 sheet pans. I can say that those are quite sturdy and well made. I think I've had them for at least 5 years. I guess it's a different story altogether when it comes to Chicago Metallic's measuring cups and spoons.
Hello, I have the same experience. My Chicago Metallic measuring cups are also rusting, even though they are "stainless" steel.
Ya, I guess these Chicago Metallic Measuring Cups and Spoons just aren't 100% stainless steel, @Peter.
