In my home, we always seem to run out of power outlets. When you've plugged in your smart phone, tablet, Bluetooth speaker, Chromecast, etc, you too will run out of places to charge your devices. Thanks to the Charging Essentials USB AC Charging Outlet from Costco, we can expand our capacity without any special wiring or heavy investment. Just plug in Charging Essential into any standard power outlet and now you have 6 AC ports plus 4 USB ports. I'm a big fan of keeping our kitchen counter clear of clutter. And that includes the cables that are already plugged into the AC outlets. I also like the built-in USB ports since most of the things that we plug in just need a USB port anyway. With the Charging Essentials outlet, we can expand the available ports as well as help keep our counters clean.

can you buy this online from costco? If so how?
Hello @Anonymous, I just checked costco.com and it doesn't appear that the Charging Essentials USB AC Charging Outlet with Surge Protection is available online. For some reason, items available in Costco warehouses may not always be available on the website and vice-versa.
My Litesun Charging Essentials (no longer on Costco shelves or online) has 6 (3 prongs) 120V outlets,
but what I like most are the 4 USB ports, with individual led that turn red when a device is charging, green when charge is complete or no item connected!
are the battery companies blocking the technology because they prefer equipment to overcharge?
Charge should stop when led returns to green; but at least if it does not, the color switch is a quick reminder that equipment can be removed rather than constantly checking the phone/tablet or whatever...
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, @Anonymous. I imagine manufacturers prefer to cut costs and produce an inferior product instead of making a quality product. You see it all the time, and it's pretty much the industry standard for any product you see out in the market.
Great value! $14.95 and fast charging.
Hi @Healthy, I'm glad that the Charging Essentials USB AC Charging Outlet with Surge Protection is working for you. It definitely makes a difference when you have to charge your smartphone or mobile device pretty much everyday.
