One thing that sold me about the Oxo SoftWorks Foldaway Dishrack was the ability to fold down the plate rack to make room for large cookware, bowls and more. On normal dishracks, I would try to balance the large bown on top of the plate rack until it would just fall back down into the sink. The Oxo also folds down for easy storage. For my household however, I can just see us leaving it on top of the counter by the sink, ready to accept a load of clean dishes. But it's good to have the option to store it away when not in use. I happen to like the Oxo name and have many kitchen items like the Salad Spinner and various cooking utensils. They make good quality cookware and I don't hesitate buying Oxo for the kitchen.
