Moving into a new house means buying more furniture...not exactly the most exciting thing about getting a new place. But you also get to upgrade your entertainment system. With a larger living room, it made sense for us to buy a bigger TV. I got a good price on the Samsung 65" UN65KS8000 so not exactly the model that Costco carries but it is equivalent. Right when I got it out of the box I felt that this was a premium model. The colors are bright, images are crystal clear and my TV-watching experience just took a significant upgrade. Watching football games on this TV make me just want to sit on the couch the entire Sunday. One of the interesting things about this TV is the smart remote. It has a minimalist design with just a few buttons. When I plugged in my Amazon Fire TV, the Samsung prompted me to point the smart remote at the Fire TV. After a few seconds, I was able to control the Fire TV with the Samsung remote. I thought that was a nice touch. Audio via Bluetooth is great..I'm able to watch TV without disturbing anyone else in the house. So for this holiday season, treat yourself to the Samsung UN65KS800D 65-inch 4K SUHD LED LCD TV.
