[Scroll down to view product info]

With Christmas less than a month away, a lot of parents are getting their kids some gadgets for the holidays like iPads, smartphones, etc. One cool gift to give is a drone which you can fly around high up in the air. You can get the Propel Spyder XL Hybrid Stunt Drone with HD Camera at Costco instead of a high-priced drone that can cost several hundred dollars. This drone can pretty much do everything a drone can do, but what's cool about the Propel Spyder XL Hybrid Stunt Drone is that it comes with a camera. That way you can take some amazing photos and video of the view up above. It can even record video in high-definition. This drone can give you a vantage point that you probably can't get on your own, so you can get a whole new perspective on the world around you. This drone will be a great Christmas gift for any teenager. At least it gets them outside and away from some electronic device's screen.

Would not fly. Taking back to Costco

Hello @Unknown, ya you shouldn't have any issues returning your defective Propel Spyder XL Drone with HD Camera back to Costco for a full refund. That's what's great about Costco since they have a good return policy to products you're not completely satisfied with.

Bought this drone for Christmas for my husband ! First time flighting it, it took off and would not respond and got lost somewhere in the mountains I walked over an hour trying to find it and it is no where to be seen . Very very disappointed :(

Hi @Mayra, that's just awful that the Propel Spyder XL Drone with HD Camera that you got for your husband for Christmas went MIA on its first flight. That's definitely a Christmas time bummer.

Same thing happened to my husband on his first flight. Tried going back to Costco with the box stating that it malfunctioned and flew away. They said, sorry, we don't take back empty boxes. We had all the other parts.

Hello @Anonymous, ya you can pretty much return anything at Costco, but I would think that you would need at least the main component of the Propel Spyder XL Drone to return it. Accepting it might set a bad precedent for Costco even though you're out of luck (through no fault of your own).

I bought mine at Costco also and it never flew perfectly because perfection does not exist. However, it did extremely well, even with flips. The Video is Decent Quality 720P (Progressive) and when it's flying you can see the noise from the motor. However, the video quality is alright for the the hardware. Christmas is a Pagan holiday converted to Christianity, so...learn the TRUTH about Christmas. The only thing I didn't like about the Drone are the guards. They could cause problems in higher winds..even though speed 3 helped solved that easily. Another thing I loved were the colors of the drone. I haven't see any since that had added pretty colors. Even my Pagan Girlfriend loved them. If you're a Christian then you accept that you're a confused Pagan. Simple as that.
