If you are in need of a light fixture, whether in a living room, family room or even in a garage, check out the Altair 14-inch LED Flushmount Light Fixture (model AL-3151) at Costco. For less than $20 you too can make the switch to LED. Not only is it more energy efficient, thus more cost-effective in the long run, it is also more convenient because there are no bulbs to replace. Who wants to periodically get a bulb, or buy one if you run out, get on top of a ladder, then replace the burned-out bulb in the fixture? If you're like me, then you've procrastinated changing bulbs in the past to the point where you just dealt with no lights in the room until you really needed to replace it. With LED, the Altair turns on at full brightness instantly. No need to wait for the bulb to warm up. So if you're ready to make the switch to LED, check out the Altair 14" LED Flushmount Light Fixture (model AL-3151).

Is this rebate still active anywhere!? I bought one of the lights last Tuesday in a Michigan Costco. I wanted to try one before buying 10 more. When I went back to Costco, the rebate was no longer available. Any idea if the rebate could come back? No one at the store has any info. There are a ton of these in stock, so I'm hoping there will be another rebate!
Hello @MATTS, unfortunately the $8 Costco rebate for the
Altair 14" LED Flushmount Light Fixture (model AL-3151) didn't indicate an expiration. Usually the Costco placard would have an expiration date, but for some reason this didn't have one. Who knows when a rebate would be available again for this product? In general Costco would include a rebate for a certain product, remove it, and then add it again, and so on and so forth. Hopefully, they'll add a rebate for this light fixture soon enough because if you intend on getting 10 of these, you'll definitely save a pretty good amount of money by waiting for the rebate. Just keep an eye out for it if you're not in a hurry to get these, but it may take awhile to see the rebate again. In the future, you could've bought 10 of these, tried 1 out, and returned all of them if you didn't like it. Costco has a very good return policy if you're not completely satisfied with your purchase.
Still waiting for the rebate to come back haha. Thanks for the tip. Next time I will take the buy all, return if necessary approach.
Hi @MATTS, welcome back. It's a good thing it isn't very urgent for you to get the Altair 14" LED Flushmount Light Fixture (model AL-3151). At least you can afford to wait for a rebate if ever it'll return. Most people probably would've given in and just bite the bullet and gotten these lights by now.
