Apache Mills Manhattan Heavy Duty Entry Mat

Keep your home clean right off the bat by placing an Apache Mills Manhattan Heavy Duty Entry Mat by the front door. You can prevent dirt from getting dragged in from the outside. I particularly like the woven design which is a contrast compared to other plain, industrial-looking heavy-duty mats that I've seen. They're quite inexpensive, so you can buy several of them for your home and you can easily replace them in the off chance they get too dirty and worn out. Our house is a "no shoes" home so we like to keep it clean...really, we're just too lazy to clean the floors all the time. The Apache Mills Manhattan Heavy Duty Entry Mat from Costco will certainly help.

I bought two of these for my home and had them in place by my front entrance and garage entrance. The mats are placed on tiled floors. After a week, I noticed that they started slipping when walked on. I removed them and walked on the tile space they had covered in stocking feet, and found the tiles extremely slippery. I took up the rugs and tried to remove the slipperiness on the floor by washing the tiled floor with a couple of different household cleaners (Spic and Span, and Lysol floor cleaner), but the areas where the mats were placed are still slippery. Does anyone know how to remove the slippery residue left behind by these mats?

Hello @Anonymous, you may want to try using Goo Gone to remove that residue left on your floor by the Apache Mills Manhattan Indoor/Outdoor Mat. Goo Gone does a very good job removing sticky stuff. I hope this helps!
