Eh, I've read poor reviews about these things at some places like Amazon and such - coating supposedly loses its "non-stick" properties after few months and I think "dimples" on its surface only add to this issue.

Personally I'd go for Tramontina models which our local Costco also sells - they do have Teflon coating BUT it's marked as "PFOA-free" so I don't have much worries about it causing any noticeable health issues.

Hi @Anonymous, ya I'm sure there are some mixed reviews with the Green Pan Healthy Ceramic Non-Stick Skillets. It's a good thing Costco also offers Tramontina pans as an alternative if you're not sold on the Green Pan Healthy Ceramic Non-Stick Skillets.

We've had the 2 pan set from Costco for about 5 months now. We've followed the instructions to the T and absolutely terrible after the first 2-3 uses.Food gets stuck in the little pits and is borderline impossible to remove. At least we weren't out mega bucks, but we're pitching these things.

Hello @Anonymous, thank you for sharing your experience using the Green Pan Healthy Ceramic Non-Stick Skillets. Hopefully the manufacturer will make these pans more non-stick in the future, but ya you're right. At least they didn't cost too much.

I'm having the same problems with the food starting to stick after only 1- 2 months. I am returning ASAP!

Hi @giovanni, ya that's probably a good idea to return your Green Pan Healthy Ceramic Non-Stick Skillets for a full refund. I seems like no amount of seasoning will make these pans nonstick.

I bought a set of two The Original Green Pans with Thermolon from Costco. Since the directions very specifically said not to cook on High heat, I have not and yet the center of one of the pans has warped causing it not to sit flat on the burner. Paint has chipped along the edge of the other pan therefore I will be returning these to Costco. What a disappointment!

Hello @Anonymous, that is indeed quite disappointing that your Original Green Pans didn't seem to hold up at all under normal cooking conditions. You should have no problem at all returning these pans to Costco given its poor performance.

Bought mine 1-1/2 years ago and should have taken them back the very first month.. I didnt use the smaller 10" pan until 6 months after I purchased the set.. the very first use the food stuck to it.. even using oil the food still sticks to it.. the best part of the pan is the outside, holds up great and cleans great.. I wonder if Costco would take mine back since its been 1-1/2 years.. I should have heeded the reviews on the part where people stated stay away from the pans..

You may still be able to return your Green Pan Healthy Ceramic Non-Stick Skillets to Costco, @Robert. I personally have never returned anything from Costco after a year and a half, but readers have mentioned that you can return almost anything after anytime. It's definitely worth a try since it sounds like you're not willing to use these pans due to its non-nonstick properties. That's what's great about Costco. They have a very good return policy with purchased items that you're not completely satisfied with. Good luck!

Where can you get lids for this pans?

ExecMemberMike said...

Hello @Pat_Brook, you may want to check the manufacturer's website to see if they sell lids for the Green Pan Healthy Ceramic Non-Stick Skillets. I have a feeling that they won't have lids specifically for these skillets. They probably sell separate pan/lid combos instead.
