It comes on when there is a power failure. But not always required when using it as a move sensor light. Even when there is no movement in a bedroom while sleeping it comes on when there is a power failure, which is not required. This should be controllable

Hello @Vinay, thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Sunbeam 16 LED Power Failure/Night Light. Hopefully that feature will be included in future models.

There isn't an option to use it only as an emergency light, without night light or motion detector.

Quit working after a short amount of time

Hello @Anonymous, that's awfully disappointing to hear that the Sunbeam 16 LED Power Failure / Night Light quickly stopped working. It's a good thing Costco has a pretty good return policy when it comes to defective products or items you're not completely satisfied with. You should be able to get a full refund.

Best product I have ever bought from Costco. More than likely I will be buying one more double pack to strategically place more of these around the house.

Hi @Anonymous, I'm glad to hear that the Sunbeam 16 LED Power Failure / Night Light is working out well for you in your home. They're definitely useful to have around the house.

Bought two of these one has already stopped charging, I took the back off of the charger and the circuit board was toast. Now I have two lights and one charger which I don't expect to last much longer. Save your money and don't purchase this item.

Hello @Anonymous, thank you for sharing your experience with the Sunbeam 16 LED Power Failure / Night Light. I hope you were able to return it for a replacement or a refund from Costco since it sounds like you got a lemon. Hopefully, this is just an isolated incident and not a pattern with these lights.

I gad the same issue, bought them for my elderly mom she lives them but they stopped working. Our costco no longer has them?

Hi @Carl, I guess they still have to iron out the defects with the Sunbeam Power Failure / Night Light since it seems like several people are having issues with it. If Costco no longer have them available, you could always just return it for a full refund.

Garbage. I bought a 2-pack of these, and both failed in less than a month. Save your money.

Hi @Unknown, thanks for the review for the Sunbeam 16 LED Power Failure / Night Light. It's quite unfortunate that the lights can't even last more than a month. That's just unacceptable.

Same thing here. Any way to get a replacement charging cradle?

Hello @Unknown, you may want to call the manufacturer to see if there's a way to get a new charging cradle for the Sunbeam 16 LED Power Failure / Night Light. Hopefully, they can help you out. Good luck!
