Whether you're out hiking, hunting, fishing, skiing, or at an outdoor ballgame (ie a Green Bay Packers game at Lambeau), these will help you stay warm and prevent frostbite. Although it doesn't get too cold here in sunny California, I usually use these anytime I go snowboarding in Tahoe and I leave some in the car for emergencies. What's great is that these are supposed to be warm for 8 hours. I remember the old hand warmers from 25 years ago. Those would only heat up for like 5 minutes before it became worthless. These are a worthwhile thing to have especially if you like the outdoors and if it gets really cold in your part of the country.

Disappointed with this product compared to other brands. Not as warm and don't last as long.
Hello @Hunter, ya the level of heat definitely varies among these hand warmers. It's just a matter of finding the right one since they all seem the same whether they're Little Hotties Hand Warmers or some other brand.
I bought a box of these at Costco in Spokane and found them to be absolutely worthless. At best these were lukewarm and that was inside the house; outside they didn't work at all. Stick with Hothands and/or Grabbers both made by the same company.
