Anyone know how to get labels to stick to these? Even the labels they come with are peeling. I have ten of these and can't label them. Maybe I should just give away most of this stuff. But for now, it would help to know which box has what in it.

Hi @TrophyJoe, if the labels that came with the Tough Box Storage Container don't stick very well, you may want to go to an office supply store like Staples or Office Depot and see if they have alternate labels that you could use instead. Hopefully, they'll have something in stock that will work well with the Tough Box Storage Containers.

I purchased some of these and would like to get more but can not find them in any of my local Costco or even online! Any ideas?

Hi @Anonymous, I guess Costco no longer carries the Tough Box Storage Container. That's the thing about Costco, they change these seasonal products often enough that you have to until this time next year to find this same product or something similar. Your best bet is to check your nearby Costcos to see if any of them still have these in stock. You can also go to Amazon and find some containers that are similar enough. Good luck!

Use a bit of acetone and some sandpaper to rough op the area. Brother (or off market competitor) has a heavy adhesive exterior TZ tape that I also use below in an engine room on boats. Resistant to oil and diesel as long as you apply it on a clean and "washed" surface (Acetone) . It can also go on hose lines where hot water or coolant moves through. These are great for several reasons. . FIRST they fit on standard 18" shelf with room to spare...in either direction. They are stack-able both in filled position and empty position. I have been transferring all of my Sterelite, Tuff Totes and other storage boxes to the 12 gallon 12GTBXLTCB unit. I hope COSTCO once again carries them. Right now (9/27) they are out in Monterey, Gilroy, Salinas. About as far as i wish to travel for them.

Hi @Tim, thanks so much for the tip on how to label these Tough Box Containers! Your advice not only helps in labeling these containers but also applies to other things as well which other people will definitely find very useful. Ya, I hope Costco will have more of these for sale since they seem to be a very good and practical container (and cheap too). For $6 per container, you can't go wrong.

Does Anyone know where i can still get these? My Costco does not have them neither does the Website. Thanks

Hi @Adam, unfortunately most Costcos probably no longer have the Tough Box Storage Containers anymore. That's the thing with Costco. They'll only have a certain item available for a few months at a time before you have to wait a whole year before you see it or something similar again at Costco. You may want to try another place like Amazon, Walmart, or Target instead.

Here is the exact same tote, manufactured by Centrex Plastics (the same people that Costco had make these white-label totes) at Lowes for just a buck more.

Hope that helps, now that Costco no longer caries them!

Thanks for the recommendation @zarthsan! This will definitely be helpful to those who can't find the Tough Box 12 Gallon Latching Tote at Costco.

TrophyJoe, I understand your frustration about the labels as I wasted 2 months and over 100.00 in trying to find a label. I tries the Brother .75" extra heavy duty TZ tape and adhesive and it seem to work wonderful. I have over 50 of these boxes and would purchase more if they carried them. The labels have held for about a year now, I put one or two on the lid and one or two on different sides of the box. The lady at Centrex Plastics sent me samples of labels they use but they are packing slip pockets and would not work for my application. Hope this helps.
