When I was a kid, my favorite cereal was Frosted Flakes. It's kind of like having a bowl of sugar for breakfast every morning. Nowadays, when you go to the grocery store, there's a whole aisle dedicated to just cereal. The selection of cereals you can choose from has just gotten out of hand, but I can tell you that choosing my "go to" cereal as an adult wasn't too difficult once I came across Post Honey Bunches of Oats. A box of Honey Bunches of Oats cereal is one of those items at Costco that I buy during every visit. Why? Because I eat at least one bowl a day, so I go through it quickly. That and a box of cereal half the size of Costco at the grocery store can cost around $5. Getting Honey Bunches of Oats cereal at Costco is more cost-effective since you get double the amount for just a dollar or so more. If you're not aware, the box of Honey Bunches of Oats at Costco contains 2 bags of cereal. That way the entire bag doesn't go stale if it were just 1 big bag. With 2 bags of cereal, the 2nd bag can remain sealed while you go through and eat the 1st bag. Depending on your local Costco, there may be different flavors of Honey Bunches of Oats also available (I've seen the Honey flavor at Costco). My mom (who is 70+ years old and is type II diabetic) especially likes it because it does not contain a whole lot of carbohydrates compared to other "healthy" cereals. For a healthy cereal, Honey Bunches of Oats actually tastes good too, and that's why I can eat a bowl a day and you should too. After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day!
