I saw the LG 60LF6090 60-inch 1080p Smart LED LCD HDTV at Costco the other day and was glad to see that 60-inch TVs with all the bells and whistles can be had for about $1000. With a diagonal of about 60 inches, this HDTV should fit well in most people’s family or living rooms. And if you like sports like I do, you can enjoy the MLB season, the NBA Finals with the Golden State Warriors vs the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the start of the 2015 NFL season. The LG 60LF6090 has a great, clear display, something that you have come to expect from the LG name. With conveniences like built-in wifi, you can easily connect it to your home network…no wires needed. Or if you prefer, you can connect it via an Ethernet cable for a more reliable, fast connection. The LG 60LF6090 60-inch is also a Smart TV so you will be able to stream your favorite content from Netflix, Hulu Plus or Youtube. In our household, finding the time to watch TV is very difficult. So we have to be more efficient in how we watch. So on-demand content from Netflix and HBO Go is what we turn to to catch up to our favorite TV shows and movies. But that is what’s great about internet content…it’s there when you need it. I haven’t used the included web browser that much since I always have a laptop nearby. But it’s nice to know that it’s there if you need it. The LG 60LF6090 comes with 3 HDMI ports which is the minimum for me. But I do wish that there were additional HDMI ports since most households will have many devices like a Roku 3 or the Google Chromecast.
