I purchased several of these storage bins as the previous vendor's model (Contico) with the blue reinforced top was no longer available for purchase. I have used Contico's products for years without a single failure. While the Incredible Solutions product may look similar to the Contico bin and have a similar pricing, it is far inferior product. Both products have the ability for stacking multiple bins vertically. I use these for storage as suggested in the article. I have had multiple failures of the black lids from being vertically stacked. Multiple bins exhibited cracks on all for corners and two of the bins exhibited total cave ins of the lids. In one case the entire stack of bins tipped over due to a lid failure and crashed into my Lexus parked in the garage damaging it. I would not recommend this product and am returning all of my black lid bins.
Hi @Skip, thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Incredible Solutions 12 Gallon Fliptop Crate. That's a shame that the current Incredible Solutions 12 Gallon Fliptop Crate aren't as good quality as the older versions. I guess the cheaper crates weren't designed to have a lot of crates and/or weight to be stacked. Sorry to hear about your Lexus...that just hits close to home for anyone.
