With summer around the corner, you’re probably already making
camping plans. You may already have a
Coleman Dome Tent or a
Sleepcell Coolvent Sleeping Bag but don’t forget you will still need some light during those summer camping nights. Check out the GE Plus Series LED Lantern from Costco. No kerosene needed for this lantern. Or just have the lantern in case of emergencies. It gives out a soft light and lasts a long time; 100 hours at low or 50 hours on high. Another cool feature is that the GE Plus Series LED Lantern can work with either 8 D batteries or 4. Unlike other standard lanterns, this one is rugged, impact-resistant, and water-resistant against rain and splashes. I could see myself using the GE Plus Series LED Lantern in a patio or backyard for some extra light when you’re hanging around outside on a warm night.

They are junk. I just bought two, put in all new batteries and they would not turn on. Investigating the battery contacts showed no problems. If you shook it, the bulb would come on momentarily. I now have to go return them. This things are garbage
Hello @Anonymous, thank you for sharing your experience with the GE Enbrighten Plus Series LED Lantern. That's awfully disappointing to hear that these lanterns didn't work as intended. You shouldn't have any issues returning these lanterns for a full refund since they appear to be defective.
got one for Christmas, it works great
Hi @Anonymous, that's great that the GE Enbrighten Plus Series LED Lantern that you got for Christmas is totally working out for you. I'm sure you'll make good use of it in 2017!
We have one we bought at a garage sale and it is great. Brighter than our big ole Coleman. We plan on getting a couple more before winter. We live in the country and loose power a few times during the winter.
Hello @Unknown, it sounds like you totally lucked out on a good GE Enbrighten Plus Series LED Lantern that you plucked from a garage sale considering how useful it is for you and your family and how it outperforms your Coleman lantern. I'm glad to hear that you're loving your lantern and that it's worth having more of them around your home.
