This was the worst beach umbrella I have ever had. It is heavy to put up and I had a hard time connecting it. It caught in the wind and blew away several times before I put it up for fear of killing a small child. I was lucky that when I returned it to Costco, they gave me a full refund. I do still love Costco but would not recommend this beach umbrella!!!

It's a good thing that Costco has a pretty good return policy with items that are not only defective, but also items that you just are not happy with. I'm definitely glad to hear though that Costco refunded your money.
Turns inside out when beach is windy. Returning both of them.
Hello @Dave, I think most umbrellas would turn inside out if you hit the beach during a gusty afternoon. If, on the other hand, your Tommy Bahama Round Beach Umbrella flipped inside out due to a calm ocean breeze, then that's definitely a problem.
