With all the Bluetooth-enabled speakers out there, I didn’t think I would find a use for the Ion Tailgater Bluetooth Compact Speaker System. But it turns out that the included microphone has come in handy for karaoke! Just plug your iPhone or iPad onto the cradle, launch YouTube, search for your favorite karaoke song, then sing to your heart’s content. And it is compatible with Android devices too. It also works as a normal Bluetooth speaker so you can stream music from Pandora, Spotify, Slacker, or whatever music-streaming service you like. The 50-hour battery provides plenty of power to last you through the day. I especially like the built-in AM/FM radio. I have found that the 50-foot Bluetooth range is a lot more compared to other devices that lose connectivity more than 15 feet away from my iPhone. It's definitely the perfect complement for when you go tailgating.
